I'm talking about anything from plant nurseries to conservation sites, but would like to ask if anyone knows any particular roles, job descriptions or links, and whether it is best to expect seasonal, part or full time sorts of jobs. Also, any info on the kinds of pay in those sectors. I know about freelance gardening, this is more about working for existing organisations. Thanks.

Reply:Well, there are business opportunities... such as managing a retail or wholesale nursery and ofcourse sales opportunities in each sort. Hands on, such as propagation or growing.
Besides that, there are educational positions with colleges, professional organizations or the government.
Finally there are gardening/ property management roles as well.
Ofcourse this is a sort of 'tip of the ice-burg' sort of answer... there are many companies that hire such professionals, including some you might not think of (Ford Motor Company has it's own property maintenance division, as does G.M.)
I hope that this helps
