What type of biology jobs are fun and interesting?

I'm kinda interested in molecular biology but i don't know if that is a fun job or not. Can you give me your ideas about the jobs in biology?

What type of biology jobs are fun and interesting?
There are lots of jobs using molecular biology - in the biotech industry, forensics, academic and medical research. The real question is whether you have the kind of skills needed in these fields, and if you enjoy using them. If you are analytical, curious, like problem solving and working in a technical field, you may enjoy it. There are definitely lots of job opportunities out there, all over the world. The best thing is to try and get yourself some experience of lab work before you commit to this as a career. Go and talk to some biochemists/molecular biologists at the nearest college (there are also usually academic advisors available to help you).

I'm a biochemist, which is one of the fields which uses molecular biology. And in my experience it is sometimes fun, often rewarding, and just as often annoying, frustrating and tedious. But even at its worst, it beats office work any time.

Good luck!

Reply:Like the first poster above, I am also a biochemist, and I agree with the notion that it can often be fun, but often frustrating as well. Your best bet is to get in at the ground level. If you can stomach working through the menial tasks that will be given to you as a lab assistant, making media and cleaning dishware, you'll be thrilled when you start on your first genomics or proteomics project and, hopefully, will never look back!
Reply:I'm not sure if this job would be placed in the biology category or not, but here it is anyway. Paleontology. Thats what I wan't to be.
Reply:marine biology would be my fave. Still plenty of things to learn about in the ocean!!
