I really love Philosophy and I am currently a sophomore in college and I am majoring in it. But I am curious as to what jobs would be available? A lot of people throw around phrases like, "Philosophy is impractical." Whereas other people say it's a really great major with broad job opportunities.
So what are some good potential jobs for Philosophy majors and how much income do those jobs make? Of course, I'm not all about money but I don't want to end up dirt poor; hence exploring all my options.
Thank you for any help in advance!

They are great writers. Self- Help is a big market you could go into.
Reply:Fast food? Publishing or business? Philosophy does not prepare you for a career, unless you want to teach it. It does show you how to think. You'll have to decide what you want to do when you grow up, then pursue it.
