Part two of this Question.
Do we have to have jobs in the United States that are manufacturing-related? Why or why not?
What happens when jobs in the manufacturing sector of an economy disappear? What can replace these jobs?
If there are no manufacturing jobs, then there are no exports from the country. Unless robots take over the jobs, and the goods still get made.
Reply:While you were typing your question, your job has already been replaced by a machine/robot/foreign laborer.
