What are some really good jobs in auto mechanics?
Driveability techs and A/C techs probably make the most. Heaters and a/c can be a bit seasonal and location dependant. In Michigan, an a/c tech won't get rich, in the south they do quite well. Driveability is year round and anywhere. A GOOD driveability tech will make 80 to 100 k a year. I do 60 to 80 as an a/c and electrical tech. I simply like being a dash man!
This is based on working at a dealership, and being fully trained. Entry level won't come close, got to pay your dues in any industry. Big Pay comes with training and experience.
