What are the best non-research jobs for a person with an MA in Biology?

Having spent the better part of five years in academic labs, I want to find out information about jobs that reward the Masters degree but do not confine me to bench work. What are the best jobs for Master in Biology, and how does one go about applying/getting that job? I'm assuming one can't readily get these jobs through job sites.

What are the best non-research jobs for a person with an MA in Biology?
You could look into becoming a Biology professional at a local community college or university. You could market yourself as a consultant for research companies and take up being a travel-on-site biologist. Get in touch with your local politicians, they hire project centers that research and market environmental law for lobbyists. Volunteer for FEMA or Peace Corp. Looking into become a paid civilian for a branch of the US military. The great thing about biology is that you can do it anytime, anywhere so long as the Earth is still in existence.
Reply:What about teaching? At a Community College for instance. CC's don't ask for a Ph.D. and you do not have the pressure of having to publish.

Good luck!
